Cloudhorizon 2 Waterproof

Men’s Cloudhorizon 2 Waterproof Hiking Shoes

Need one shoe for rainy trails, city streets, and long travel days? The Cloudhorizon 2 Waterproof handles all three without extra bulk. It’s On’s lightest waterproof hiking shoe, built for comfort over rigidity.

Waterproof Protection That Doesn’t Weigh You Down

A sealed waterproof upper keeps feet dry through puddles, wet grass, and light rain. Unlike stiffer hikers, this shoe stays soft and flexible around the foot. A padded collar and hike-specific toe guard shield against trail knocks. At roughly 11.8 ounces per shoe, it’s lighter than most waterproof hiking competitors. Compared to the HOKA Anacapa 2 Low GTX, it trades some structure for a softer, more responsive feel.

Cushioning Built for All-Day Wear

CloudTec Phase midsole technology, paired with Helion superfoam, creates a plush, rolling stride. It absorbs impact on long walks better than most hiking shoes in its class. A Missiongrip rubber outsole grips dirt, gravel, and dry rock reliably. Traction is strong on maintained trails, though more technical, rocky terrain calls for a stiffer shoe.

Key features:

• Sealed waterproof upper for wet-weather protection
• CloudTec Phase midsole with Helion superfoam cushioning
• Missiongrip rubber outsole for trail traction
• Padded collar and hike-specific toe guard
• Lightweight build at about 11.8 oz per shoe
• 8mm heel-to-toe drop for a natural stride

Who Should Buy the Cloudhorizon 2 Waterproof

This shoe fits day hikers who want comfort without a stiff, heavy build. It also works for commuters and travelers who want one shoe for everything. Hikers planning backpacking trips or technical, rocky routes should size up in support. For that use case, the non-waterproof Cloudhorizon or a stiffer trail boot fits better.
