On Cloudflyer 5 – Built for Support Through Long Days
Why do standard running shoes struggle to support overpronation? Most neutral shoes let the foot roll inward without any guidance. The On Cloudflyer 5 solves this using a wide base and asymmetrical stability profile. This design adds medial reinforcement exactly where overpronation typically occurs.
Cushioning and Support System
The midsole uses dual-density Helion™ foam, firmer at the heel and softer forward. A molded heel clip and re-engineered ankle collar secure the foot in place. This combination controls motion without forcing a rigid, unnatural stride. Together, they support long hours of standing, walking, and daily running.
Materials and Fit
The upper offers a wider, more accommodating fit through the forefoot. Plush heel padding and collar cushioning prioritise comfort over pure breathability. The toebox suits bunions well, though very high toe-spring needs may feel tight. This shoe generally fits true to size, with a dedicated wide option available.
Who Should Wear These Shoes
Overpronators needing guided support benefit most from its structured stability design. Nurses, teachers, and retail workers value its long-shift, all-day comfort. Walkers and slower, steady runners suit its firm, stable ride well. Those with Achilles or posterior tibial tendon concerns may find added support here from On Cloud shoes.
